Marisa LaRuffa is an NYC-based Italian-Filipina-Spanish-German-American actor, singer, dancer, devisor, teacher and aspiring intimacy coordinator. She is a company member with Emit Theatre, most recently devising and performing in Waves of Wonder, a new play about climate justice, and their ‘22-’23 production of Twelfth Night. Other Recent NY Work: Surviving the Rosenthals (Theatre Row, Rogue Theater Festival), FMK and It’s Okay (MCC Theater). Marisa continues to advocate for not only the necessary uplift, but the celebration of LGTBQIA+ and BIPOC/Global Majority stories/storytellers.
