Workshops

Throughout the season, SitW will be hosting workshops for local students that will give them a direct connection the cast and crew.  SitW is working closely with area schools to engage as many students as possible.  The goal being:

  • Early involvement in artistic creativity

  • A practical look at what goes into a professional theatrical production

  • Understanding what it means to have a career in theatre

  • Comfort with classical text

  • Building of confidence and eagerness to explore

  • Connecting to the dots for making art outside of the traditional entertainment hubs

A few lucky students who demonstrate exceptional focus will have the chance to apprentice with SitW's directors for each show, providing them early experience in that career path.
