A native of London, Biraj is a classically trained Countertenor specializing in the roles of Handel, Monteverdi and other baroque and renaissance composers. He has also held positions
with some of the world’s leading choral ensembles including the choirs of St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle and the Washington National Cathedral. He also has sung roles in many new
and contemporary operas, most recently the role of Merlin in the staged world premiere of The Loathly Lady at the Vienna Summer Music Festival in Florida. He is delighted to be making his theatrical debut as William in As You Like It.
